subscribestarI sort of can't believe I need to make one of these but this will be for future reference and current reference since people buy eggs from me, don't read the rules to adopt, and then ask questions, which is somewhat my fault for not making sure people read said things.
Anyways, this applies for all adopts I design (not designs I got from others; I make sure I can sell adopts if I buy them and don't use them) and egg adopts I make. These rules are always here when a batch is OPEN so I'll leave this one here for others to see.
--All designs are somewhat grab bags. Therefore, there will be no WIPs. You get what you get. This has always been the rule with egg adopts
--All designs are FINAL. Anything changed after it's finished will have an extra charge added for every change. This does NOT apply for things I forgot, such as making something one color or, more often than not, forgetting someone bought a backview.
--You MAY resell the design for the same price you purchased it as. You may NOT sell it for higher but you can sell it for cheaper.
--You MAY sell an adopt for higher IF YOU PURCHASED ART FOR SAID CHARACTER. Drawing your own art for it will not increase the price
--YOU MUST TELL ME IF A CHARACTER IS SOLD SO I CAN TALK TO THE NEW OWNER AND PUT THEM DOWN AS THE CURRENT OWNER. NO EXCEPTIONS.
--You may trade the character and give it away, but I still must be told of the new owner
--You may NOT remove my watermark, make edits, or pay another artist to do edits
--You may NOT claim you drew it, figured this was obvious but I guess not
--You may, at any time, give me back the design if you are not happy with it and I'll resell it
--You may come up with a name, backstory, and everything involving said character without my permission. I'm glad you love your baby but you don't need to ask me if something is ok with their personality <3

Anyway, while I understand how frustrating this must have been, thank you so much for posting this in a clear and separate location. I don't know about others, but it makes me feel grateful. Also, I'll be sending you a note soon as I finally found names for my two-headed hellhounds.
I delete the egg adopt submission once the eggs are sold because people generally don't come back and I have no use for a used-up submission. Regardless, this is posted here now, so hopefully I don't need to run around and try and get people to note me when they sell their things or find someone I never wanted to have an adopt/on my block list owning one of my designs.
