Back to Kickstarter? Lemme know your thoughts.

As you all know I didn't cancel Something To Do With Love when the Kickstarter wasn't fully funded. I adjusted the scope and was able to fund a good chunk of the game without it via "extras" commissions.
Not gonna get into a big text wall about how having a budget wouldn't be awful and how I need to eat, don't worry about that.
Keeping in mind that "Something To Do With Love" has an actual demo now, and I've gotten some of the budget together without Kickstarter; Should I try crowdfunding on Kickstarter again with a lower funding goal?
Answer below!
P.S. "Extras" commissions are still open, details here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8335102/

FA+

I also didn't do any marketing, but that probably won't change a second time. I can't bring myself to do it. It's anxiety I guess.

Maybe make on of your gifs into a FA banner?
No FA banners this time, though. I've never had a good experience with those, and time is a factor with a Kickstarter campaign.
Also, are you planning on including material rewards and items again? If so, would there be any "upgrade" options or special tiers to bridge the gap between appearing in-game and the old/new rewards?
We're not gonna do any physical rewards, it'd eat into the already limited budget. Other than that it'll be about the same. The top tier will probably just be what you already paid for.
I kept my rage off the internet just in case it could have delayed things even further. Since I'm never running an ad here ever again I don't mind saying that I was very, very mad at the time.

Your work probably isn't going be enough to support you on it's on at this level. My advice is to get a real job, cover your expenses then keep working on your art and someday people will happily line up to pay for it.
I do other work, I can't support myself off just this. I can't fund it myself either.
Also, I said right in the journal not to worry about me being able to eat. I'm good.
For covering life expenses a Patreon is better or as you said, a job, is a good idea however the post declared it is not neccessary. This kickstarter is not to cover his cost of living while developing the game. It's not an issue. So either you misread badly or are just taking this opportunity to say that he sucks, unrelated to the actual post.
