I've been through many problems in the furry fandom, i decided it was enough so i quit it. Now, i don't know what exactly is bothering you, but my advice is to try a hiatus or a period away from this fandom and enjoy only what you like about mlp: see how you feel and any decision you'll take will not be wrong.
Also, some people tell me not to grasp on fandoms and labels just to fulfill my "emptyness": it's kinda hard not to do it, but it's probably the best thing. Though, i'm not saying you should quit, just that happiness doesn't hide behind labels (which i hope is not what you're doing, searching happiness this way): as said before, do what you feel, it won't be a wrong decision

I go through a ton of slumps, maybe yo ushould be more grateful for what you have that I can't exactly get. You got more active followers compared to me, I'd vbe lucky to get a comment on my uploads. I was even willing to accept negative as heck comments, Soo... be grateful I guess, sorry if this offends but I mean it, be grateful.

As for a cancerous community, you can't keep running from it, cancer is everywhere these days making it hard to avoid, I just live with it and sometimes turn it into my personal entertainment if you know the right words to say, I blame overpopulation and mass unrestricted usage of the net with parents not giving a crap about if their kids are potential nazi's, and also make up most of the toxic side of the brony community (Which was a problem I had to activly speak out against and go to hell while doing so.). Leaving would be the optimal choice for escaping cancer but eventually you'll regreat it, come back ,then eventually this thing happens. The more logical reason would be to accept ,deal with irt and hopefully you'll be so used to it like me, it barely bothers you anymore. This said by a guy who runs a no-rules server of this one game where nobody is complaining about the admin shinnanigans, which worries me.
