Wisdom Tooth Surgery: Survived!
After my surgery for removing my wisdom teeth, I took a while to recover, but I'm feeling much better now. I learned that my blood pressure drops as an after-effect of the anesthesia, so that wasn't fun, but it's good to know for the future. I won't bore you all with all gory details of my recovery, but I will say that I took a trip to the emergency room on the night of the surgery. I got to try Vicodin for the first time, too. Two pills of those make my very silly, which was pretty fun. The withdrawal from Vicodin, however, was much less fun. All the pain is gone, but I'm not out of the woods. Still gotta watch out for infection, so I have to keep rinsing my mouth... every... thirty... minutes... sooooo annoying. I'm feeling well enough to start back on writing, so I'll be getting back into the swing of things. Next up: the fourth chapter for A Debt Owed. No clue when it'll be done or how long it'll be, but I'm looking forward to working on it~

As for an old wives tale, the directions to do so were part of the post-op surgery papers the doctor gave me, so not so sure I buy that unless a business that literally does nothing but wisdom teeth removal was fooled.
