Hey guys, was wondering what you guys have been up to recently? Anything new, fun, exciting, weird etc?
Whats new with me is that I got a job as a janitor. It is a really lovely job actually. I finished my first week of work on friday. Each day it was nicer and nicer to go to. I don't really have to interact with people or worry about things and it is a relativity easy job once you know what you need to do. I mean, I was supposed to have training monday through wednesday but on monday i got a half hour of training and they said I picked up really fast to where I don't need any more training than that. Which was super nice.

3d printers are cool. Those would be so fun to have! How does it work? Make anything fun? (even if it doesn't fully work)

well its still on the way but then I get it I plan to help my college project along with it, plus make all the parts needed to make my now discontinued rc cars work along with playing around with little figurines and other things such as that. from the looks of it you make a 3d model/ download one etc. this particular one you have to transfur the model to the SD card and plug it into the printer scroll along till you find your file and I believe a slicer programme which literally cuts the model into loads of different slices or "layers" and it prints each layer in sequence for a small model there can be up to 2,500 layers roughly though taller stuff may need more than that I managed to pick mine up for about £115($156) from gearbest you can pick up filament fairly cheap there too got 400m for £21 ($29) looking forward to messing around with it

That sounds really cool.. I would end up watching the thing make whatever it makes for hours xD I know I would. I would have expected those to be a lot more expensive.

they normally are but gearbest takes on and sells things from china and hong-kong from companies that make decent products but no-body has heard of them so thats why they are so cheap, i bought a UGEE 1910B drawing monitor about a year and a half ago and although the pen ends sortof chipped a little bit it doesnt affect the usability or function, other than that the thing hasnt put a foot wrong . now if i said graphics tablet or or drawing monitor most would go for Wacom stuff as Wacom is a massive company so they can sell their stuff at much higher prices as they have a name to it im sure that before this you probably hadnt heard of a company called UGEE
