Oh yes they most certainly have. IMVU has been one of the shittiest, shadiest companies (especially when it comes to customer service) for YEARS.
Just look back at some of the reviews, let alone things uploaded to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) about them that date back several years.

IMVU is a horrible company and seems dead set on remaining one, if not becoming a worse one. :/

I mean, I've been with IMVU for years. I've seen the issues and reviews, but usually it's not IMVU's fault. I definitely agree that their company isn't great. It used to be really nice, but it just seems more $$$ focused than ever. Oh well.

Half the problem is that the experiences differ so greatly between user to user. I've been a member with imvu for over ten years and between myself and friends have had horrible experiences, 99% of the time IMVU's fault.
Hell, they not long ago lost a class action lawsuit over their poor handling of music tracks that used to be purchasable in the catalog before their music shop thing came around... yet another prime example of their poor business protocols.

I agree, though. It became more and more about money with them. I gave up the moment they took away third party credit sellers. They got a cut of those sales by law (unless it was a black market seller in which case they did
their best to take them down as they came across them) but instead of letting them continue or lowering their own absurd prices, they just took away people's only option to get them at a bargain and kept their ridiculous prices.
It was a last straw thing, for me- personally. Wish they weren't like that but... oh well is right. Not much we can do about it. :/

Really sorry you're having these issues... I can't imagine why on earth they'd revert the name change. That's obnoxious. On one hand, I'd hate to see any other update from you that said anything other than 'everything's fixed now!'
but I'm really curious as to WHY they would do something like this, now. :/ I hope they fix it for you... even though they should have done that on their own from the very beginning. -.-
