Huskies are THE hardest to train and take care of =X
If given to a newbie = disaster

True =P He had a begal once... sweet as anything =D But he got bored of it... didn't walk it and stuff and it ended up at the pound... T_T; He seems to think living animals are toys that you can throw away once you get bored of them or they become to much to handle...=_=;

But come on, at least he should know what he would be getting himself into. :\ Lots of fur everywhere, grooming, training, LOTS of exercise for him and the dog... etc. x.X

thats nothing. i saw this ad online where this lady was asking for a free puppy, my friend sent her an email asking why doesnt she just adopt from the humane society and she said she doesnt have the money to do it. it's 90$.... anyway after a few emails we find out this lady is living alone on disability, she cant afford the 90$ to get the dog and a bag of dog food is around 100$, shed never be able to even feed the dog much less afford anything else it would need, and she still wants to get a dog even after we ran her through the list of expenses.

Some people are totaly blind to animals needs =_=;; It's daft... and on disability? How does she expect to even walk it O_o;

i have no idea. = \ we tried talking her out of it but she's insistent about getting a dog

No one should ever get an animal without first doing extensive research and making sure they have the right kind of time, money, and home for said animal. I know that goes without saying, but still...urgh. We've ended up with several animals where we live now because my mom is very kind-hearted; people in the area dump their animals off in a nearby field area because they get tired of them, the animal (if female) winds up pregnant, etc. It's very heart-breaking and stupid. I just...can't stand the thought of someone taking in an animal that they really don't need to be trying to raise and care for. :<

True... =P I hate seeing abandoned strays around the area... most of them are as sweet as can be too.

Yeah, we still have one of our strays as well as the offspring from another...and each year we typically see 1-2 new animals and we have to try to find another home for them quickly so that we don't end up with more pets. We're down to four cats inside, a ferret, a chinchilla, and one cat and two dogs outside, so it's just like...jeez people, stop abandoning your poor animals! We want to help but can't take care of them all. x<

And we do take very good care of the ones we have and aren't struggling for it - just thought I'd add that cause that's a lot of animals, haha... But yeah, don't need anymore. :x

Yeah, Huskies do require alot of attention, and exercise. They are not a beginner or lazy animal owner dog.

Um ... "in IRL" is redundant. "In" is already imparted by the acronym. It's like saying "In in real life". it doesn't make any sense! >_>
