I say that all the time to other folks too as well, and the best advice I can give is to just practice every day. Don't stop learning. Don't stop striving. There's always trudging through a hundred tons of failures before you're able to dig out a handful of successes, but it'll get easier over time. Sometimes progress is agonizingly slow and other times you have a 'eureka!' moment. I'm far from where I want to be and I'm not sure how I'll ever get as good my idols, but I can say without a doubt that I'm better than I used to be. If I can say that then I believe you can do it too!
