How did you come up with Qhala's design ?

It was a team effort really.

I knew I wanted a snake, as well as the proportions you see and know of today, but Qhala's design was pushed back and back due to complications on the artists part (not their fault, might I add)

The long period of waiting gave us both time to contemplate Qhala's overall design and I came to the conclusion that I wanted something 'mystical' to be attached to her personality. So I asked for markings - of which the artist gave Qhala that you know see and know of today.

They would have been other colors (such as blue, gray, and even red) but we settled on green as we felt it helped her 'pop out' more than the generic tones we'd briefly considered.

Where did you get your writing skills, or are you self taught?

Self taught, really.

I was deep in the books when I was younger - was even pitted against the seniors of my freshmen class due to how many 'literacy points' I was earning due to my reading/writing capabilities. Yes, that is me gloating, hah.

But that's all there really is to it. Maybe toss in a few good stories/movies in for good measure, but I've otherwise never taken any special courses or training.

I was a fanfiction writer in the past however. My beginning 'career' was marked with horrible fanfics of my favorite stories. I'd say a turning point was when I received harsh criticism for one of my works. I tried my damndest to turn their opinion and eventually succeeded. I'll admit that I'd taken inspiration from other fanfic writers leagues above my own writing at the time (and most likely still leagues ahead of me today) but I observed how they structured their words, added minuscule details to their sentences, and helped stretch out simple acts into mighty paragraphs.

So... I suppose you could say I fangirled my way into being a good writer, hah. Well, maybe not good, but I'd like to consider myself decent.

Call me good/great/meh/bad all you want, I hold my own opinion of my works, hah.

What was your inspiration for creating Qhala, was it just a desire to have your own cobra character or was there more to it than that?

Inspiration was the need/want of having something someone could simply fuck.

I felt (and still feel) that too many OCs are locked behind walls of conditions. 'Must be this sex, must be this race, etc, etc.'

I needed/wanted someone that the general population could enjoy seeing fucked and possibly get fucked by. So I'm trying my best to have Qhala be a go-to-girl for just about any kink imaginable.
