I dunno... I've seen so many call outs for similar characters and people gettin butt hurt. The characters in question look NOTHING like each other. Seriously nothing. :|

Correct me if I'm wrong for saying this, but I have seen this more in kids of this generation.
I haven't seen the old-school furs getting butthurt for seeing same species of their fursonas/oc's sharing some traits with others. (well, with some minor exceptions...)

It would be like if I get butthurt for every feline/demon character I see with bighands paws... And I've seen plenty of them since It have became a popular trait.

I've seen some older furs do this but not as 'often'. One of the few I've seen recently was an older fur calling out another older fur over a damned marking...

So... yeah.

It's sad when people it's more dedicated to only see the bad part of everything. To all the diversity that this fandom offers when it comes to characters- It's like being upset for all the black wolves with red eyes out there.

No, no, the person to wich I gave the drawing wasn't the one who got salty. It was another person who has NOTHING to do with the gift-art in question. Because that person though I was attacking them indirectly via that, involving the person to wich I did the gift.

Yeah, to the point where a person can't see a particular species with some commom traits because they got all "OH NO, YOU STEAL MY UNIQUE CHARACTER" even if the art that upsets you for that hasn't nothing to do with you in first place.

I'm not saying that I should receive a golden statue but man, it somewhat shows contempt when the person receives other art and put those in a gallery and "loved them forever" while mine never seen the light. I felt like the person didn't like at all and then I feel bad with myself.
It's like, being forgotten... idk.
For any person it's nice when you see someone remembers you, even for the slightest of actions... And while I did these gift-arts to random people without thinking to get something in return (not even a thanks), this was the first I felt like shit for doing something that should have been to brighten a person's day.
but yeah, I'm aware that one must learn to live with those situations, too.

I keep reading this but I swear I understand it less and less the more I read it. How does someone come to this conclusion?? Like I've had an ex friend name their art nasty stuff they've said to me personally that only I would get as passive aggressive stabs every now and then but unless you did that I don't... see ANY other way someone could take something as an attack???

it isn't the first time this person does these kind of things. I was just part of them but I decided to not remain in silence about it, since she keep these kind of "dramas" and rants posted only on her personal FB and friends. And because she's a popular artist she tend to receives constant support of these actitudes (or people are afraid to say something against her opinions just because they don't want to lose the "friendship" with her, or to avoid being blocked)
