Need money help to fix flooded basement
I want to believe that FA is still a good place to stay viable to those hungry for badge art work. I’m feeling really low right now having the basement flood for a third time in the short time we have lived in this house.
It passed it’s inspection before we moved here. These flash floods are just killing our ability to keep water flowing away from the house.
So, tips and tricks anyone to get visibility to commissioners? Because I’m going to have to find enough work to fix the damages and triage a solution till we can figure out our next steps. We just can’t keep doing this. Myles and I are just exhausted with the flooding, the late nights of pushing water.
We lost so much 6 months ago with the major flood, so it was at least easy to bail out the items we still had. We had Rubbermaid’s this time around since we made an agreement to never have cardboard boxes ever again. It’s not at bad as last time since we caught it early.
I have no idea where I’m going to find $2000 to just put in some sort of trench/gutter into the concrete. We are at least certain we’re the water is coming from. The joint between the wall and the slab is just not holding back the water when it flash floods like this. I just want to find enough work to get through this mess, to be able to have breathing room to figure out our next steps.
So please, share some help, let me paint for people, fix our life, find our way out of this mess. There is only so much financial recovery that one can make in less than 6 months...
