It's been a long time coming

So a horse walks into a bar...
Alright guys, I figure it's about time I tell y'all a bit of truth that has been causing issues with a lot of people. I really didn't think its that big of a deal, but it sure as hell is proving to be.
Firstly guys, I am a MALE irl. Have been, always will be. What a shocker to y'all, right?
What might end up being a shocker to you though, is my original sona was

And as playing this sona, I did lie to a lot of people about my gender, and for that I am sorry. I wrapped myself up in a lie that I felt the only way out was to try to wipe the slate clean and start a new character. However, there are just way too many good people I am friends with as Rykken, that I didn't want to give up. I tried to blend and keep it separated, which is obviously impossible.
I told a few furs right away, some were clever enough that they figured it out way before I had the guts to tell them.
Others, took it to heart, and were hurt.
To all, whether you were hurt or not, I am sorry. I truly didn't mean it to end up in any sour light. But this has been eating me up inside and I had to come clean.
Again, I am sorry to those I lied to for all those years. And if you are willing, let's get to know eachother all over again, but the truth this time.

Unfortunately you are going to get a lot of backlash from a few who are all tied up on gender. If they turn around and say it was "They were only friends for X/Y/Z" then you can easily turn around and say it was only the gender/character/fantasy for them. You wanted to still be friends with these people. So its on them.
I never understood the whole butthurt over what was a text-only-medium to start with. Seems pretty narrow-minded to get caught up on the gender of a person behind a character on the internet.

Be whomever you want to be, gender is just a title, what makes you who you are is so much more than that.
