100 day challenge - update
I am not sure if anyone will read this, usually when i post something its just a mention about some useless crap happening in my life.
Truthfully i only post to keep this site going, like furrymuck. I log on just to keep the character from been deleted.
So imagine my surprise when i actually found something i wanted to talk about, something that is having a positive effect in my life. That is drawing.
I started this 100 day drawing challenge after seeing a youtube video about some guy doing a 6 minute sketch challenge. It looked fun and he was going on about how it really helped his art. So since i have a lot of free time at night i thought "Why not?"
I think i am into day 10, not 100% sure will need to find the first sketch i made and mark the date on a calender. The goal was to do 15 minutes a night just doing doodles, sketches and tutorials. The goal was to get pencil in hand and keep at it until either the challenge ran out or until i started to make such improvements that i wanted to continue.
Lets be honest, i have tried to learn how to draw in the past but i never stuck with it. If i had who knows....you might be wanting me to do artwork for you....who knows
So I am having a lot of fun. At the moment I am doing about 4 sketches a night, alot of it is welll to be blunt....crap but some I like enough to post here.
My Friend once told me to simply find pictures i liked and to try copy them. Find something you like and something that is not to hard to learn to draw and keep at it. Well for once i followed his advice and hopefully i will get better as time goes on.
So in closing, my gallery is only going to get fuller.... Thanks for reading
