Based on my own experience with you and whatever little I can comprehend from this journal, it sounds like you still do not pay any thought to how they feel about free requests. If they're doing other things instead of doing your requests chances are they are either more interested in those other things, these other things are making them money, or they are helping them build their own future (attending colleges, learning new skills, etc.

I came to your page because I wanted to see if the person who was like me was the same person who blocked you. There didn't appear to be anything about you on her page, but I remember you complained about somebody blocking you in your journal some time ago.

If you want free requests, only ask artists who are explicitly advertising requests and read what kind of requests they are willing to do. But be warned. Even if they are taking requests, you cannot bombard them with one request after another, assume they love all the same stuff as you do, or bug them about your requests.

That's why I tried to tell him better. I have no idea what Theyton said to him and I still cannot understand this journal at all. However, I do know that Madbum is very very persistent about his free requests. For all I know, Rime_the_Vixen might have already tried to respectfully tell him no. He just doesn't listen.

Maybe; honestly? I don't know. But either way, I have advice.

To Madbum, and other users, out there; if you're reading this, try looking for someone that's ALREADY offering free art requests, on this site, by searching! (Try doing so, by newest.)

Good point here Annamay. Today, he asked "Do you take requests?" despite my profile clearly reading "NO requests (example is can you do X?). However, art trades and suggestions (such as I would have liked to see X) are fine with me.". As a result, I blocked him so he can learn his lesson.

If I STILL took requests, I would have been given explicit requests and would be constantly asked "How's my request?" over and over again and be sent many requests a day.

I understand you may be unintentionally annoying, from some people's point of view; that I can understand.

Yep, I just got one earlier today. 5 months later, I can concur.

Almost end of the year 2021 and this guy came into my notes asking if I do request even though my front page says right near the top its through journals and raffles only. I can excuse english as a second language making that hard to understand, but not when you're explained it a second time.

Plus I only like doing requests that'll feature my own characters haha!

I can confirm this back in 2017 he noted me unexpectedly asking for a request when its was clearly he didn't read the front page or look in my gallery on what i draw especially since it was an nsfw picture he asked. I was wondering if i was the only one who had this experience and i'm not alone.

Yes. This asshole asked me for a request 5 years ago. Good thing he isn't active here anymore because he is probably punished now.
