I see a lot of people using sonas as something other than themselves. Particularly, aspects they wish to have and aspects they wish they could be rid of. However that doesn't mean someone should just assume everyone does that.

I mean I dislike people saying sexual things about someone's character in general. Calling a character beautiful or sexy is one thing, we don't need a novel explaining exactly what you'd do to them if you had the chance. Yuck.

Even if it's different aspects, it's how they want themselves to be seen. That's a fursona.

Nikki more so now because Sera is attached to some rather not so fond memories of my abuse.
She's still me. Just Nikki is more realistically suitable and well...possibly could exist. She's not a monster, she's just a finicky feline...
It's why when I get artwork of her. I send it to people and say "look at the picso and so drew of me."
Because she is me. And since I don't do creepy random sex.
