So back from Furpoc 2017- muuuuch better than 2016! I was glad to see that the communication and staffing issues from last year had been addressed and resolved! Had a lot of fun, and met a lot of cool new people. Was pretty irked that the Zoo, where I normally spend 90% of my time at the con, was closed down for 2 hours on friday evening for some kind of exclusive sponsor event (which to my knowledge had been held in a ballroom in the past).

This con had a lot of firsts for me, some good, some bad, hoo boy.

First and foremost, this was my first convention of any kind being single, as my long-time mate Renoch broke up with me last May

This was the first time I have EVER attended a room party at a con! I had a blast, too!

This was my first time with roommates other than Renoch- a room full of babyfurs has its pros and cons

This was the first time, seriously, that i didn't buy any merchandise at a con. For a while it was my tradition to get a new badge at every furpoc.

So in short, it was a great furpoc- maybe the best I've had! Dinner with friends and friendly strangers, parties and movies and saturday morning cartoons, and even a bit of art was scribbled out, (if not completed).
