More ideas/questions about those YCH ideas.

I've been working on getting some previous commitments taken care of before I focus on those YCH ideas. Thank you to everyone who has given me feedback on the previous couple of journals. I'll be trying to work the visuals up in the next few days and figure out how the slots will be purchased. I know a popular method is bidding but I'm not entirely certain I want to go that route. I'm also pondering how exclusive the idea should be, especially since more than one person has expressed interest in the same characters. Unlike the past, I'm pretty motivated right now to get these going and done as quickly as I possibly can. They'll likely be graphite, possibly shaded but if it's an auction format, I might consider colored pencil work as an option.
I'd be SUPER interested in a YCH with Dragon Lady.
I hate to be that guy but it's true. If I had the dosh, you'd be getting it.
And idea is you could team up with someone to do some digital arting with them.
Everyone I would know that would do that is busy with thing.
I did see one YCH that had a rule stating that should there be another bid near the deadline then it would be expanded for longer until no more bids, it was a way to prevent sniping
Bidding might be the easiest route to go with, if just because its so common (possibly easier for you to peek at other artists and match their approach, and more furs seeing the offer may understand how it works at a glance)
If a bidding route, think of the time needed to do the pic and put a 'wage per hour' on it in your head; make the starting bid at-or-near what you'd want to be making per hour? :d
Ladder auction being the style of offering complexity tiers as being unlocked by highest bidding value (e.g., bidding reaches 120 and it gets color, bidding reaches 160 and there's a fucll background, 200 and there's a third character, etc)
