You can always have your paypal put it into euro, but I am (somewhat) certain that most people prefer to see the price in USD. I honestly don't care either way myself though because I lived in Europe for a few years so I know the exchange rate fairly well.

Yeah totally. In Europe we have great euro currency exchange, but I mean if you will the passage to euro I'll low little my price. I can't do the same price in USD and EUR 'cause one currency stands better on the other.

As a buyer, i prefer to pay in USD since i pay less EUR for the same amount of USD.
(I mostly never do impulsive commish or ych because i don't really have a budget for FA and i need to plan when i can ask a commish or not)

But it is up to you, what is more favorable to you ? USD to Zloty or EUR to Zloty ? I think you must choose what is better to you.

I totally understand you! But I know some artist have options if you don't want pay in euro. They can make an exception for you and accept your offer in USD! ^^
I never bought arts but I think it will be very helpful for each other.

For me of course EUR to PLN, but I wish my customers and friends to be satisfied ^^

As a buyer I prefer USD, since I know the amount will increase when I translate from Euro to USD. But do whatever is easiest for you! It's not that hard to figure out the conversion ourselves

For me of course EUR, but if someone what pay to USD it's no problem for me!
I think artists and customer should help of each other and we can find the best way for us ^^

USD would be more affordable and I know people would be more likely to commission you. HOWEVER, if it is more affordable and within logic for YOU to charge in Euro, I say do Euro. It simply means people would just have to save a little more in order to get a commission from you.

we live in Europe, we use Euro, is easier at least my opinion :3
When I used USD, had to convert to EUR and Paypal takes more than the actual rate, besides the tax of receiving money, you lose a bit more with the exchange..
That is a valid reason for me and so far had no problem with people paying me in Eur :)

But I saw comments below journal - I have more folks which live in US, so they're using all the time usd currency. I want to be more flexible for my customers ^^

Honestly i assume everything is usd unless stated. But i tend to lean to more usd artists then non because it is less work for me to figure out.

Charge in the price that you find the easiest. If you're from Poland it probably isn't a case between EUR and USD anyway since either way you lose with currency exchange to Zlots. I personally don't give a single damn about currency when commissioning someone else. :P

Of course nope. In Poland we have another currency, but if I live in Poland for me EUR is easily way. I want to be more flexible for my clients and customers! :3

BTW I have to correct you: There are always fees for the convertation to another currency. But it depends who takes these. You can configure if Paypal takes the fees and directly converts it or it takes the money directly from the bank and the bank does the convertation and takes the fees.

So you should decide by your customers: If you have many in Europe, then you should take Euro, otherwise take USD^^

I don't think you're understanding me okay XD Of course if I paid for something Paypal [or I send money for my private bank account] always taken charges, but I never have problems with extra charges when I wanted change EUR to USD. They always translated into the current currency - that's all.

I think I have more people who want price in USD. ^^ Now I'm sure. One group prefer usd, another group are indifferent. :)

Feel free to charge whatever. I like it in USD because that mean i personally don't have to do anything, but if its better for you in Euros, go right ahead, will just have to figure more on my end Xp wont stop me from getting things from you though, whenever i get the chance X3

USD is easier since the EURO is a much higher currency with higher exchange rates for the buyers. I've seen this happen time and time again. USD is the preferred one on FA due to most people being able to afford/exchange to get cash for around the same price. <3

Yeah I think the same like you! I think in fA we can find more artist which have price in USD. I'm okey with all prices, but I wanted know what my watchers are thinking about changes ^^

Euro is more useful in European countries :D Even if we have zlotys, sometimes we travel abroad and then it's simply easier to get out Euro from Paypal and throw them into a euro-based bank account. These accounts are basically free right now and this way its much easier to travel :)
Living in Europe it's highly unlikely You will not need to convert the money and loose some of it!

Weirdly I prefer US dollar prices - it always re-calculates for me automatically, so it makes little sense for me to change it into EUROs, but it tends to calculate it into Euro + cents as well due the exchange rates, so if you write for example 15 euros, then for US buyers it will be higher. But so far all the US prices, which are like 20 or 30 or 15, etch calculate cheaper for me. But if it starts to calculate stuff like 15 euros into dollars+sents which are higher than your noted price on your product, it can scare off the buyers. Psychological effect, I guess. It really depends which market you're aiming for.
