In essence, a bunch of people are creating an accidental DDoS attack. :p
Serious though the fact that Fa doesn't have a f5 and just relies on cloudfair to prevent its DDos is laughable. Pony up and spend 300k on a real LB service and they could move all the script kitties off to a low resource vm and let the avg users actually get to view content.
