AnthroNW & Mugi Update Part II!

General
I'll be tabling there this weekend, Table #27 :3
I'll be taking a limited number of sketches and badges, and will have pottery, prints, stickers, buttons, etc. I've been preparing for CTNx as well up until the very last minute to take the train up, but even if I look tired come by and say hi, and hope to see you there!! I've always loved visiting Seattle and I'm happy to see a con return to the area, lets wish them the best and hope everything goes well.
Mugi has been doing well after her ear procedure. Her bacteria cultures came back and we're continuing her syringe ear medicine, prednisolone twice a week, and baytril for the bacteria. She had a quick followup yesterday and they said her ear drum has been healing up nicely. They gave us these horse-pill sized baytril tablets to give to her - she is *impossible* to pill - dogs will swallow pills pretty readily I've found, but I don't know how cats can still manage to hack up a pill. The last time we tried it was such a miserable ordeal for everybody, so I've been crushing up her tiny prednisolone pills which has been ok, but the baytril is such a large portion it makes her food taste terrible. She cleans her bowl at every meal and she left most of the meat chunks that I had mixed with baytril at the bottom of her dish last night. Since it is a coated pill I'm just going to put the two quarter pieces in whole and see if she'll eat it, but I kind of doubt it in which case I'm going to try to find a pill popper that works well. 29 more days to go of this medication..... Wish us all luck!

OP
She's healing nicely! Finally finished her baytril medication, we had to get a pillpopper to do it. I'll really celebrate the day we finish all of her remaining medication!
