Updates and my new Identity...
I think it's about time I started updating things here on FA!
I'm currently busy getting things ready for EF15. I have 11 new pieces of artwork currently ready for the artshow, plus a further 3 in various stages of completion. I'll be uploading them here on FA once I've got them scanned, which I'm hoping to catch up on during the next few days.
I've also got three huge book projects I'm working on, although nothing will see print until 2010 at the earliest.
My other important new regards my new ID I mentioned on my previous journal. The account I will be switching to is:-
Rorschfox
Not much there at the moment, save for the design to my in-progress fursuit. But I will be moving there permanently shortly after EF15.
Why Rorschfox? Not much to do with the character "Rorschach" in Watchmen, to be honest - instead, it has everything to do with the symmetrical ink blot-esque patterns in the character's fur. Attendees of ConFuzzled 2010 will get to see the completed fursuit in person, when it makes its debut...
As for my artwork on this account, it'll be staying here. I've uploaded quite a lot over the last few years, and will be adding to it before September: and I have no plans to remove it. Just remember that post-EF, everything will be uploaded to my new account!
Thanks for reading!

FA+

I have no idea how much I can get on half a panel D:
But between my art, books and prints, and your art and prints, it's fair to say that a lot of my car will be filled with art-related stuff!!!
With some inventive positioning, it is possible to fit six pieces into a half panel at EF - but only just! (I managed it last year!)
I've got 1.25 panels - and it's going to take some serious planning to fit all 14 pieces into that space!!
As for my own stuff: I've got a couple of "secret weapon" pieces that I'm hoping will do rather well...
any canines up fur teh show? XD you know I so want... plus I'm working now! so I haz (finally!) some monies...
so want a fursuit too...but in my case I think wearin' a full one in aussie weather would mean I'd melt
And if you're going to have a fursuit in Australia, you need one with an exceptional cooling system. Mine uses three fans (one in each ear sucking cold air in, and one in the muzzle blowing warm air out), plus several yards of tubing to help circulate the cold air.
Might be worth asking a fellow Aussie what he does:-
And yes, there will be canines up in the artshow. I'm planning on starting the upload tomorrow...
yeh luckily I tolerate the heat alot better than most people *anything under 25C is cold* XD; yeh I have a job for like 5 months a year, but it's fun makin' much of a profit with bills/rent/etc! and my C's obession helps none... (canines, cars, computers...!)
ya takin' proxy bids for the artshow?
I'll e-mail the organisers and find out what they say on it.
(I leave for EF on August 24th, so there is still a little time yet...)
