***I am stricken by the sudden irrepressible urge to animate something. In truth, it's been lingering at the back of my mind for the whole summer that I really, really, ought to animate something so that I'm not rusty when school comes rolling around again. But I am continually stuck on the what of what to animate.
I know I want to animate to some dialogue, so I've been looking around online for soundclips, but although I've saved a few nothing's really struck a chord with me.
So do any of you guys have any suggestions? Movie clips, song clips, clips from radio plays. I don't need any context for any of these things, mind you - it's fun to make it up according to how it sounds anyway.
Usually a good choice would be making a mini music video out of a song, doesn't even have to be the entire song. Create little loops, y'know? Easy stuff.

You going to school for animation too, then?
I originally wanted to go to school for animation, but illustration is where I'm at for now. The two subjects are wedded pretty intimately, so I'm not complaining. You go to Sheradin, right?
I wonder what stuff you'll miss by not majoring in illustration. I imagine it must have some exclusives. I mean, I hope it does.
Every month you're given the challenge of animating an 11 second performance based on a clip of dialogue (or sometimes sound effects).
