It's been a while since I've last written a journal. Most of you may remember that journal about that crowdfunding campaign, right? It's been over a year now and I can't be more grateful with all of you who supported us in this very difficult situation. I've been living in Chile for about seven months (arrived in March 23rd, 2017), found a stable job (both of us), earning just enough money to live decently and got my permit stamped on my passport, meaning I have a temporary visa (woo!), I'm living in a nice apartment with my boyfriend in Santiago and despite some ups and downs, I'm so happy that we could finally make it! I couldn't have done it without my boyfriend's constant effort and, of course, all of you who helped.

Of course, it saddens me deeply that since my departure, our country is getting a lot worse, more than I could have ever imagined and I'm doing my best to help my family, it's something that they appreciate a lot and I'm so happy that I can do a lot more to help them from here than there (in Venezuela). I wish I could help everyone there, I still have lots of friends. Unfortunately it's out of my hands, but I'm sure I can help in some other ways (spreading commission offerings over here, Facebook, Twitter, etc) and such.
