The past two and a half weeks of my life.

Finally I am able to literally crawl to my computer to write this as a hello and explanation to my watchers as to where I have been and why my stream cut off.
Two and a half weeks ago I started coming down with something, didn't know what, just a growing fever, no appetite, and crushing headaches. After a couple of days I went to the doctor to get checked out, turns out I have Strep, well no big deal, I've had it before.
I started feeling better, even logged a stream in.
But, right after that I begin to get sick again, really sick.
*****(Here is were it kind of gets technical and icky so if you don't like that you can skip to the next line of stars.)
I have a thing in my calf called a hemangioma which is a blood tumor, a network of wildly grown veins and muscle mass that form a sort of spongy lump, most of the time under the skin.
Usually, it is just a small thing that makes one calf look a little bigger then the other and aches once in a while, sometimes it swells up with blood and gets tight and uncomfortable, not a huge thing.
However, apparently when I was sick with Strep, it somehow moved from my throat and infected my tumor, this is called Cellulitis.
This has led to some of the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life.
Try to imagine having a ball bearing, half the size of your fist, this ball bearing has spikes on it, but not long needly spikes, just a few thick dull spikes. This ball bearing is in your calf,
Then imagine a vice that is capable of crushing inward from all directions at once and that is acting on your calf based on how much blood pressure you are exerting on it.
So moving is agony, sitting is agony, all you can do is lay down with your leg propped up, still hurting, but trying not to move because this at least, hurts a little less. I have screamed out loud and collapsed multiple times.
When I need to use the restroom I have to crawl to it.
It has not been a fun two and a half weeks to say the least.
I am, however, seeing the other side, the swelling has gone down, and even though it is still impossible to walk, I can start to drag myself over to the computer and prop my leg up and actually DO something.
*****All this being said, since I have been so out of commission, even to my family, we have fallen a bit behind and my son's birthday is tomorrow.
I am going to be opening for 10 $55 icon slots to help make his birthday a good one, please keep an eye out for the posting and reply there if you are interested.

And I couldn't help but smile at the thought of gas mask icons paying for a birthday party. It's awesome to be able to have this option these days.
