A-aw! ^.^; Yeah, they opened up a ton more space this time apparently, and from how crowded it was I can't imagine how packed it must have been before @_@; I didn't even know till after I left that it was literally the biggest furcon ever though xP I thought maybe it was just a medium size one or something. Still blew me away how many people were there.

That would make it so much worse. The only way that I could ever attend something like that is if it were held in some secure location, with no possible contact with non-furries. There are exactly two people who know my true identity, and I will do everything I can to keep it that way.

Oh, it was still pretty exclusive, with them checking badges at the doors to a lot of the big attractions and such. I just mean like, they rented a bunch of space from the building across the sky bridge and there was just tons more rooms and floorspace for them to fit everything in. The dealer's den was HUGE, and PACKED, and apparently up until this year it was somehow squeezed into this room that was like 1/3 or 1/4 the size, so trying to imagine how the con was before is a bit mind-boggling x3

Yes, but was it completely undetectable to the general public? That would be my requirement, that no outsiders could see anything incriminating.

Are there a lot of people that know you that tend to wander around the convention center area in Chicago? x3 Because there were lots of fursuiters walking around the area, so it might look suspicious if you were spotted walking in the front door, but it's also just a hotel and regular people that were checking in for a night would be going in there too. If you know people that would GO INTO the hotel, then they might see you go into a panel or talk to obvious furries or something. It's not like the panels and such were on display in areas where tons of people could see or something, but with how many fursuiters were wandering around the general area (for several blocks around at times) it was pretty obvious to anyone in the area that there was a furry con going on, but I'm not sure how exactly you're worried about being detected yourself. Don't wear anything obviously marking you out as a furry, and hide your badge before you leave?

Hell, if you wanted to (and could afford it) you could even get a room in the hotel, and then you basically wouldn't have to show your face outside the convention area all weekend x3

I'd rather not take chances. After all, a snow leopard is the shyest and most secretive of cats, and the only one of the big cats that has never made a confirmed attack on a human. The only way you will see me is if you know I'm already there, or I let you see me.

And in any case, fursuits give me the creeps.
