We did it everyone, thank you all for joining and showing your appreciation for those tasty animals. Our vegetable drawers empty, we can go back to gobbling up mousies.

If you have joined, let me know how it went and if you used any of my recipes at all if you haven't yet. I'm happy I finally got around to posting a few of them this year, I wonder how many of you actually tried them.

Oh thank you god it's over, it was incredibly brutal for me; I felt a bit weak and loose during work (which they just fired me but because I was "disrespectful to employees" but then again it's Walmart so everyone's an asshole except me apparently), I craved for the delicious taste of a cheeseburger from McDonalds (which I usually hate McDonalds but you know how desperate I can be when hunger is the moniker), and I've been guzzling down water like nothing. Hell I lost 10lbs from doing that but I felt like my ass didn't shrank and only my stomach starts to implode where I went from a 185.8 down to 176.2

Overall: it was tough, I was going crazy, but at least I kept my mind busy the entire time by playing Fallout: New Vegas so it help kept the hunger down. I still felt like I did pretty well holding out, oh and one more thing to this...

It was a lot of fun, I had a great time experimenting with different foods this year. I'm a horrible cook, so any opportunity to learn more is always good. I hope it went smoothly for everyone and I hope you have a wonderful and happy birthday Foshu!

Went well this year! Think there were only a few days where I had no other choice but to break the vow, but perhaps only 5 days at the most (where I had to consume meat).
Can't wait for next year, hun

Well, the situations came up because it was either eat meat (once again, perhaps 5 days) or go without a meal because there was literally nothing else available to eat/cook with.

You did, but it's alright. Maybe try for a shorter period next year? Otherwise, as I can't say it enough, plan your weeks ahead, make sure you gather recipes that fully substitute meats in your diet so you won't fall to cravings. Make sure your housemates are okay with it, either by supporting you or by letting you make your own meals. You can't just have dinner with them and just leave out the meat, you'll miss out on important nutrients that way.

I've grown so into the no-meat lifestyle thanks to this challenge that it feels difficult returning to normal. It was burdenful at first because I live with cooks, but lightened up after I started making more certain that I always have my own alternate meals nearby. I didn't cook anything precious this year, besides a pumpkin pie, but I always save your recipes.
Thanks for inviting me to keep going after I biffed.
Please have a very filling but not so much it hurts birthday celebration Fosh, if you haven't already.
