TLDR:
Answered questions, helped people with lost/found items and physically couldn't log anything (my login didn't work), Satan's Habitrail, comedy shows + booze + awesome talented, cool GOHs, seeing people I only see once a year, people assume I'm on HRT/getting my pronouns wrong/adding letters to my name/not letting me out of an elevator when I'm a wheelchair/making comments about me in a wheelchair (separate incidents)...I need FAQ cards to give out, fixed someone's body suit's torn knee seam said hi to folks in Artist Alley (one was rude post-event) and in the Dealer's Room, held a chihuahua, costumed once for 2.5 hours and got portraits, played with a dog-veteran two people I see a few times a year, memorial service, donated two boxes to If It Fits It Sits, Shamus is still an awesome roomie + his two nice MI-localish buddies, was not around for guy bringing distressed animal into the event and guy previously banned from the event coming back and ended up getting arrested outside of the venue (both situations were dealt with / any comments about them will be removed), $85Kandthensome raised for the charity!!!, ate too much at the staff dinner, wheelchair questions, sickpeoplewenttotheconanyway.
That was my weekend. I donated to the charity and had ZERO ROOM in my luggage to buy anything. I got creative with my con swag, including a toy ball someone left in front of my hotel door. I barely fit a toy ball in my luggage. Giving it to my neighbor for their pup.

FA+

Sounds like... the really full con. And Shamus!
Awwh, I miss ya, I'm glad it was fun and ACTION-PACKED. :)
You didn't mention crowded.. Glad that it was over the top attendance, but the con definitely needs more room to expand into to handle all the people!
I wouldn't have made the trip if she couldn't have gone. She was able to meet her suit maker, too.
From my understanding, they're all ready planning to move more of the activities to the convention center.
