Well, this is a pretty random post, but something I found interesting. According to a research study done on Herring and Lesser Black Backed Gulls with GPS trackers, the birds were recorded flying 100 kph (62 miles per hour!). I had no idea they could go so fast :-D

I lost a hotdog overboard once and a Herring Gull swooped down and swallowed the whole thing in one gulp.
