Hey, everyone! I really need to make these more often. This is going to be a super vague update, but, to keep things simple, I'm still around, I'm still writing, I'm still drawing, and my life has changed remarkably little, aside from working hard to improve with every passing day! This journal is here to serve two purposes: I'm looking to put out feelers into my watcher base, and see what you guys want, and I'm working towards some very serious and exciting projects that'll start at the beginning of 2018!

So. Requests. As you may have noticed, I'm currently 71 drawings into my Adamant Artist Challenge, the goal of which is to put out... 1,000 characters of art by December 31st, 2018. Right, so I've got a lot of work ahead of me, and I don't think I'll always be brimming with ideas of what to draw. The weird thing about getting better at art is that, the more broad your skillset becomes, the harder it is to pick any one thing to draw on any given day! So, if you have any suggestions, drop them in the comments here. I'm not promising I'll be drawing any of what people suggest, but I'm always open to ideas! I'm also thinking about opening 10$ sketches, to fill out my to-do list, so if anyone would want one of those, let me know in the comments below, as well.

Secondarily, I'm also curious to hear feedback from my watchers about how they feel about my art, recently, what you'd all like to see from me going forward, etc! Like I said, I'm really pushing to improve, lately, and want oppinions on how I can grow my page. If anyone has any questions, or such, leave those in the comments, as well, and I'll try to reply to everyone :) Thanks!

Okay, hmmm...

Well, seeing my name you probably already know what I'm going to suggest, which is something involving diapersuits! (and possibly hypnosis).

Something I think would be neat is to have a sequence involving someone's Pokemon (or Digimon) diapersuit being "evolved" as they're continually hypnotically deepened. So, for example, you start with someone being put into a Squirtle or Charmander diapersuit, a few cute scenes involving hypnosis and babying, then you upgrade them until they're wearing a Mega Blastoise or Mega Charizard suit.

I'm confused about what your goals are. You used to do a ton of writing, but now draw. There's this massive list of commissions that you still link to from your main FA page but looks very outdated. https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5733659/

Personally, I would like to see more writing, and at least an acknowledgement that Two Weeks is probably never going to be finished.

Oh, I still do a ton of writing, actually. I just happen to write things now that aren't really the sort of stuff my readers here would care about. And you're right about that list of commissions being outdated, mostly because most of the commissioners on it have their commissions on permanent hiatus, and I have my work cut out for me with the one or two big clients that I now do most of my work for. I stopped doing babyfur writing largely because it was too hard on me, emotionally, to put all that effort into my stories, and for most of them to get virtually no attention when I posted them. Indeed, a lot of the time I'd get notes scolding me for my tastes, or my style, etc, so I just... stopped. That was about the time I started seriously committing to learning to draw, and I've come a long way since then. Now, I'm working towards doing comics, which is what I learned to write for in the first place, oddly enough. I'm just not sure if I should even post them, here, since the cognitive dissonance with my watcher-base seems a bit hard to overcome :P As for Two Weeks... eh, I haven't touched that in a long while, but I won't rule out ever finishing it. It was never especially well received, and The Vacant Years is turning into the more definitive Caretaker universe story in any case, and that one WILL be finished, so... I don't know. Does that answer your questions?

if you're gonna make that deadline, you'll have to start doing several drawings a day. I advise that you should take requests, but have the paid sketches be higher quality than the request drawings.

Oh, I already do several drawings a day! I average about five characters, five days a week. Not everything is furry or kink related, though, so it doesn't all end up here ^^ These also aren't traditional 'requests,' either. More like I'm casting a net to see if anyone has any ideas I might like to draw anyway. I am taking AA commissions, already, though not publicly, which of course work like commissions usually do.
