Ladies and Gentlefurs - I'M BACK, but i only kinda left.
By gods i don't even know where to begin this journal, but it wont be extensive. It has been a long road from my last journal to where i am now. Trying to live by a new mantra, through adversity i come out stronger.
As big life events go i haven't too much to report:
*I no longer serve in the military, and i miss it, but since ending my service i have way fewer health issues. However, also since leaving my metabolism has increased dramatically and i now have issues gaining, and maintaining weight. I love you chub-furs, throw some of that my way i need it!
*I started my Bachelors degree while i was still in the military, but i am now about 3/4ths the way through my classes.
*I started a show rabbit program, and have even won some ribbons! One benefit from this is that, as our dogs are often supplemented prey model raw, we also have some "free" dogfood. Currently i have about 25 rabbits, not counting babies.
*I lost one of my soul-kitties, Thomas, to poisoning earlier in the year, he was a few days shy of his 10th birthday. I had him since he was 6 weeks old. We sent him off properly on Samhain as part of our ancestral ritual. I miss him, but sending him off felt like closure.
*I adopted a 10 week old "barn cat" about a month before Thomas passed away. Since he passed she has surprisingly become attached to my hip and recognizes my PTSD and anxiety swings, but also manages to still have time to catch the mice and rats. She's amazing.
*There has also been a fair share of personal issues and accomplishments, as well as discovery. With life changes and personal discovery i am no longer the wolf-cat i used to be. Now a bengal cat, not what i intended but it is what it is.
SO all in all,I have a full plate these days with life, rearing the two heathen cubs, caring for an urban homestead, completing my bachelors in business, and running the small show rabbit program. These are what takes up the majority of my time, and has been for the last 3 years, and why i have been mostly absent here. However, as life goes, things are settling down finally and my mate and cubs and i are back on a clear path. We will be moving back south closer to loved ones in the next few years, tentatively.
I am happy to be back drawing again and i cant wait to share my doodles with everyone. Love all you crazy awesome furpeeps, stay gorgeous.
