Star Wars VIII

*Potential Spoilers!!*
Was it just me or was The Last Jedi just.....bad? I feel like the new trilogy had a lot of promise after Episode VII. This movie either killed a lot of those promising things (In some ways literally) or made them moot. There was also a lot of shenanigans and random love interests (I honestly did't enjoy Finn and Rose's part. That's just me thought.) To me it seems like the big wigs at Disney threw their weight around and messed with a lot of the plot.

This is an inherent problem when you change directors in a trilogy. Story line loses a bit of focus.

OP
Agreed. I think it worked with Rouge One, but that wasn't part of this trilogy. You think there would be some kind of continuity, instead of cleaning the slate with everything Ep VII set up.

I kind of had that feeling, I'm glad now I didn't watch it.

Yes it was bad. Pretty much like the last one, except worse.
