I'd like to know the same thing....it seems dead and it's worrysome.

It does seem to be more of a ghost town at the moment...I know a number of folks left for DA. That or tumblr.

i still use it regularly! i know at christmas time comms tend to slow down though because people want to get people presents.

From what I've heard from friends, a large number of them have started lurking rather than commenting or faving due to the community itself becoming less inviting than it used to be and making them anxious.

Twitter is super popular for furry/fursuits lately.

I think it's been pretty dead, but i haven't been posting much this year~

I do see way more going on instagram.

The community has been going down hill recently. drug parties, nazi furs, shit rooms at cons, a lot of people are going back on the down low because a cartain number are being stupid.

I've always been more of a lurker but I think a lot are moving to twitter? I've seen more people say they are active on twitter the most.

Sorta. I notice I get more views on Weasyl over FA.
Twitter is definitely a hot spot. I don't know otherwise, that's all I'm active on. Instagram might be a thing.

I think over the past couple years people have been spreading out over other sites (FA exodus) and now there isn't a particular site that's regularly active. Not for a traditional gallery-esque site anyway. There were many new sites created that people flocked to but quickly lost interest n ghost towned. But didnt want to support this site so.. i dont know, is a strange time in the fandom online.

I just came back after being gone for a year and a ton of the good artists I follow have left. Seems like it might be dying.

Might be due to the holidays.

well its holidays and probably because people are tired of FA's crap
always beggin for money when thats IMVU's job now
barely anything getting fixed or updated thats not 5 years too late

also the political thing its causing alot of furs in general to retract in fear of being put in to either team

Yeah I spent a few years away and recently came back and it seems more barren. Yeah FA definitely seems pretty dead/dying these days, I know a lot of furs like myself are more on Twitter and a few on Instagram more than this sight. Unfortunately it’s not how it used to be a few years ago, people don’t seem as active or wanting to interact with others on the sight. I think the website probably hasn’t aged that well or lacks appeal to younger furs in the community to keep it being busy.
