I'll only leave this journal up for the duration of the holidays until Christmas, probably, but I wanted to say something.

I started my new deviantart/launched my furaffinity account a few precious weeks ago because I was between a rock and a hard place. In my financial situation, there are no local jobs that I can apply for due to lack of transportation, and my financial difficulties. I opened my furaffinity account in hopes of taking a few commissions so I would be able to buy my family things for Christmas this year.

The interest in both my art, but particularly my writing, has been overwhelmingly positive. I went from being able to buy my mom and my fiance something to also being able to shop for the uncle I live with, my future mother and law, and my future brother in law as well. I was able to give my mom the Christmas she deserved after a rough year. They were small, minute gifts but I was able to buy small things for my close friends online. I was able to actually do something for Christmas when I thought I wouldn't be able to do anything. This wouldn't have been possible without the support and commissions bought from the people on this website.

I am deeply grateful to you all. I intentionally only planned on this being a temporary thing, but it seems there's a genuine interest in my writing and ideas here. I am considering opening a patreon if there would be enough interest, and posting original stories and plots and perhaps staying around long term to take commissions and post auctions. I couldn't have done it without you all. Thank you so much.
