Nope, it's mechanical failure, so the cost of recovery is too big. You have to hire special tech service with no-dust special hard drive disassembly chamber.

Update - maybe I'll be able recover some stuff thanks to R-Studio app.

I've always taken those hardware failures as opportunities to try again. I know its maddening, but in all seriousness when I start a picture I always doodle and sketch, and don't hesitate to dump and erase something if I know its not going to work (which is after say 30 minutes of sketching and still not feeling confidence in the pose/angle etc). At times I've had successful pics overriden in accidental saves, in which I've just started again but often trying out a different angle, approach etc. Try different stuff is all I'm saying.
