Yeah, you're probably sick of seeing journals like this since 1) It's not Christmas in your side of the world and 2) EVeryone's making one regardless whether or not it is actually Christmas on their side of the world. BUT before you hit whatever button is used to click away from this page, bear with me for a sec and get into the meat.

So 2017 has been pretty good to me in particular, probably one of the better years in my life. The main reason for this is because not only did it remind me to recconnect with some old friends that I made years ago but never did, but it got me so many new friends, a lot of which are pretty much good friends to talk to. They pretty much are the very reasons why I'm practially no longer in that bubble that I have been in until this point and have become more outgoing and willing to be out there. The awesome people list (which is really outdated and I need to update) were people that I have come to know over my entire time in the community, but here, I'm going to highlight some of the new friends that I have made that probably made my life so much better.

And by the way, this isn't the complete list of new friends I made, just ones that I have things to say about. Don't think that if you're not on the list, I don't like you, it's just that I can't think of what I can say about our friendship or I would end up saying the same thing as another friend. Also, because I tend to misremember things, I might get some things wrong, but this is how I remember it.

 silentselene - So his Telegram Group "The Emperor's Harem" was pretty much one of the reasons I got to know such an awesome dude. Not only does he share many of the things that we both like, but he's an all around great guy to be around. He also served as the inspiration of me making Tales of Furmiitopia, with his making Miis of furries for his Tomodachi Life inspirted me to make Miis again, which in turn, led me to Miitopia, one of my favorite games of 2017, and it brings me to the story. Much of this can also be said about  kra5h as well.
 fahleir - So this is another friend that I should give special attention to because to be honest, I have to attribute our friendship to be pretty much the catalyst to finally coming out of that shell of mine. And of all things, it pretty much started on a pinup of Grey and a few art pieces of him and Ulric that followed. And all it took was me reaching out to him. Other than that, he's pretty much an awesome guy that I got the extreme pleasure to get to know, and also a great person to exchange ideas with (because I have a lot, cause I have imagination). And here's to more sharing of ideas to come! =3
 tanrowolf - Okay, I can't express enough how awesome of a guy he is. Honestly, I just typed in his name in Telegram out of random and after that, we just naturally became pals. He's been a joy to talk to at the times when we do talk, it's incredible. He's also the first guy I shared a lot of the skits I type up randomly which served as the precursor to Tales of Furmiitopia (I can definitely find use for Tanro in the story cause I like including friends in stories, but where...) And I would also share that he is also the reason that I'm now a part of  -digitalis- where I hope to make a lot of new friends there. I probably have, but it's pretty much a good time regardless. You are so awesome, dude! By the way, much of what I said about Tanro can also apply to  dexterlion as well (not everything, but you get the point).
 wanderer1708 - Can I just say that I seem to gravitate to the international furs a lot? I love that! Anyway, here's another one who came to me because of Grey. But aside from that, he's also a great guy to be around and and pretty much one I can count on and one that tends to look out for me. That may be wierd wording, but it's the best I can put it. He's always a good person to talk to whether its my troubles or some random thoughts I have, or even some random ideas I have floating in my head. You rock, dude!
 heirwolfenstine - This awesome dude is a bit of a recent friend of mine (try about a month or two ago) that has been great pleasure to know. And here I am thinking, "How have we not met yet" because he lives in Washington as I do, but he's a cool guy. I hope that we get to meet in real life someday too, hopefully circumstances lead us to ultimately meeting one day. Maybe a convention or a gathering of some sort.

Although I admit, I hardly, or never, shared all the more intimate details of my life and all that junk, I'm just getting started about being more open, so maybe one day, I will be able to share all that with some of the new friends I made. I did show my face in pictures on my gaming corner Telegram group (Shameless self promotion!) when I went to PAX, so such pictures aren't too far behind. As for the old friends that I hardly ever talked to, I hope to try to reconnect with you soon.

This year was also the year of me trying new things and getting back into things that I once abandoned. For me, it's writing! Yeah, if you have paid any attention to my gallery, I have posted 5 chapters of my story Tales of Furmiitopia, which is a story based off of my playthrough of Miitopia. The story contains characters of mine and from friends (which I'm starting to run out of, please inquire if you want to be in a silly fantasy story... I need like 3 characters left to get the story I want to make), with Ulric and Dean being characters from friends already in the first arc of the story. It's been fun to make, so I hope I can improve on writing, and hopefully I can do more stories too! And who knows, I can do more things too, like voice acting. I'm willing to try some new things that I feel like I would be into.

So overall, 2017 has been pretty good, probably one of the best years in my life, even if there were many downs, but the ups more than made up for it. Here's hoping for a good 2018!
