My personal favorite games I've played this year.........
Seems like with New Years just around the corner and along with it the year 2018 (Still can't believe how fast this year has gone to me) is approaching I thought I give my thoughts on what games I've liked and enjoyed playing so much.
Games On PS4
Horizon Zero Dawn - For sure my longest playing but most fun game I've played this year having put over 60+ hours into it and I've still haven't beaten the game yet cause I've been doing both side quests and main story quest so I can enjoy the world and the excitement of pulling off those headshots with my bow I've even got The Frozen Wilds also that I wanna check too later.
Persona 5 - Granted this is my very first Persona game I've ever played so I was jumping into this fresh with little to no knowledge of the previous games and thankfully learning that you don't have to know the other games to jump into this game since there is ton and I mean TONS of stuff you can do in-between managing your time from fighting in different worlds like One's called Palaces that's story based missions and the other Mementos that's kinda like side missions if I'm explaining that right. I wanna go more in details but instead all I have to say is that beautiful soundtrack that makes doing your normal chores makes you feel so relaxed and than all of a sudden when fighting the music picks up fast with a faster pace beat that's truly is a delight to listen to during the turned based combat. The game I think is on sale now and if you haven't checked out videos or someone playing it or jump right in fresh. You won't regret your trip down Japan in this game for sure.
Steamworld Dig 2 - This game I played the first one before on both PS4 and PS Vita and really enjoy the first one how you dig as far down as you can trying to get as much minerals as you can carry to take back up to the surface to trade for money and than using that money to buy upgrades from attack skills to being able to carry more minerals in one trip. This Second game kinda picks up after the first game in which there's a story of why Rusty, the robot you played as in the first game , has gone missing and your trying to figure out what happened to him. In a way this game plays like Spelunky but a bit more easier if that makes sense. There's some new functions in the game that makes this second game a fun pick up and play game on both PS4 and PS Vita but I will say this even though it's cross buy on both systems there is no cross save to my knowledge so be sure to keep that in mind when you do play this game and how that doesn't take away how fun this game is for $20
Destiny 2 - If I was gonna be honest about this game is that I haven't done any multiplayer vs games yet , my time has been mostly spent on doing missions by myself and what I took from this game is that it's not a terrible game but also not the best despite people been saying how it's really terrible and bad I ended up giving the game a chance and see how it plays since I did play the first one and did get my time out of it while doing missions on my own. I only put in around 6 to 8 hours total since I only got the game in November and I'm late to the game so I'm no where near the levels as some others but really I'm enjoying the shooting and the weapons I end up getting feels like I'm actually getting a better weapon when I change out weapons. Not really a lot to say since I haven't done a lot yet so I'm gonna try playing some more and give it more time and see how it goes over the next year.
I do wanna mention two games that game out the last month that did get me excited to hear that both Okami HD and Star Ocean: The Last Hope was being released on PS4 and PC but I ended up getting them on PS4 and it's sooo worth the $40 bucks ($20 each) if you never played Star Ocean : The Last Hope or Okami HD you need to check those out on either PC or PS4 , I highly recommend it.
Games I played on PC
League of Legends - I know LoL is toxic and dumb but I just can't help myself going back to playing matches with randoms and enjoy playing the champions I pick in the game , It's a love and hate relationship where I do love playing this game and I know this game has been out for a very very very long time since I started playing this in 2008-ish and yet I always find myself going back to playing it , I guess it's because of how it plays and despite some of the toxic players some of them are also relaxed but that's probably due to me only playing normal matches and not ranked too. Sorry guys XD.
Battle Chasers - This game is really a fun RPG that came out this year and I just love the art style in this , it's really beautiful and fun watching the combat take place.
Again I only got an hour or two in but this is one game I'm for sure going back to and continue playing to see how it all comes together.
The Last PC game I do wanna mention is a really small Indie Game called Finding Paradise that came out in the middle of this month and it's from FreeBird Games who made both To The Moon and A Bird Story. It's a follow up from To The Moon but with the same two scientist from To The Moon and the music is just as emotional as it was in the other games . I'm telling you guys this now if you love 2D RPG-like story but with more focus on story and without fighting monsters this game is truly a hidden gem that needs to be played and appreciated for what went into this game. The game is on STEAM and here's the link to the game's website if you wanna look into it http://freebirdgames.com/ .
If you guys made it this far into the journal than you have my upmost respect and appreciation cause I really over did it with the writing on this journal but enough of me yapping. Just wanted to Ask everyone what was your favorite game that you played despite both the positive or negative reviews of the games you played. I love to hear them all.
Have a safe and great New Years next week and see you all in 2018 ^_^.

But you can't climb anywhere you see where as in Zelda you can climb anywhere and anything, climbing in Horizon isn't bad and the best way I can explain the climbing is kinda like Uncharted if you ever played any of those games where the parts that are yellow are climbable like yellow ropes or yellow metal parts and some ledges. I will mention one thing that I do recommend you try and get first and that's the Fast Travel unlimited pack that you can buy from a seller early in the game so that way you don't have to worry about stacking lots of travel packs and speaking of buying with money keep in mind how much you have cause your money has a double use for buying stuff but also for making your arrows and other ammo. There's also skills you can invest in but your stuck with what you pick so save your game at campfires so that way if your not happy with a skill you can redo it. But good news is your gonna be able to get every skills unlocked anyway so that's why there's no respect and there's even more skills that's included in the new The Frozen Wild DLC with new machines and a new story but you don't have to do the DLC if you wanna do the main game first .
Sorry for talking so much and hope this gives you a small idea and the game itself is on sale on the PSN store and I'm sure the same can be said for the physical copy of the game too. Not to forget this is coming from the same developers that made the Killzone games which some people like or hate those and for this being their first time making such a game as this is something worth seeing and at least playing it if possible.
