First off, did anyone notice that I updated Gushing the Girlfriend and Friendly Greetings? They're shaded now! :U

Anyway, it's almost New Years' Eve, and that means time to reflect and resolution and all that business. To put it bluntly, none of my writing plans for this year really ended up panning out: I started on a PMD-esqe story based around anthro Bill and Rose's backstory, but ended up losing motivation for that very quickly. I started a proper PMD story to serve as a sequel to Beyond the Sky, but after a couple chapters ended up losing interest in that, as well, despite the fact that I want to go back to it and the idea at some point. While it wasn't a terrible year overall at all (it was certainly a phenomenal year for videogames, I'll say that much), in terms of the stuff I actually wanted to get done, I didn't really end up doing much of anything. I'm probably proudest of Camping Trip, both for being a multiple-part story that I actually finished (a good omen!), and also for being the first time I've written Cyan and Erin as anthros in any major capacity. They even got some lewd scenes for themselves. It's a nice hurdle to finally jump.

As for 2018, I think things are finally settling down. Life isn't quite as turbulent as it was going into 2018, and I've gotten back into a nice routine between work and life, so I'm planning to capitalize on that by starting work on a story based around Pokemon Sun/Ultra Sun, starring the anthro characters and set in an expanded Alola, with a lot more locations based around the actual islands (rather than the very tiny, condensed game islands). I've lived here for years now, and in particular driving around for work this year has given me a better appreciation for everything that the islands have, so I think writing a story that combines both the game and living here will be nice. The true Alola ke Ola, if you will. It's been a long time since I last revisited the main-series setting, and I think actively getting into it will be just the change of pace I need.

So starting right on January 1st, I'm going to start working on the first chapter of that, and that's the main project going to occupy my time. It might get lewd at some points, but for the most part I just want to start something and stick with it in the long term. Having a goal like that will help me get back on my feet faster and better, and it means all of you folks will (hopefully) be getting more anthro stories and more often - though even with that as a main project, you're likely to get some other lewd oneshots and lewdfics all the same.
