Journals are good if you wanna do exactly what you're doing now, unload your thoughts, talk about what you're doing, or what you are going to/want to do in the future, or if something happens and you wish to share it with your watchers. And your language is fine, if you want a tip then I'd just say put some space between paragraphs, much more pleasant to read then, but don't worry about it if you don't want to bother, it's your journal and you should be able to write it like you want to

Like everywhere else in life there will be some thing you like and some you don't, on these kind of sites one will just have to stay clear of those things, not really much one can do and getting agitated unfortunately doesn't help much.

But yeah, otherwise, FA sure takes some getting used to, it has that old web 1.0 feel too it, that you don't come across as much nowadays as you used to, though the bad parts slowly gets better as time goes on.

Anyway, you might be able to circumvent some of FA's size limits by editing your submission after posting it and re-uploading, though I don't know how that works for flash, it's a pretty legitimate tactic despite not being documented (admins/developers know about it, yet haven't attempted to "fix" it).

Otherwise you might want to check into some third party service for uploading video files directly and then link to the high quality version(s) in the description. Since a large part of your animations are relatively short loops (and the ones with selectable scenes could e.g. be broken up into several video files) most services should be suitable, some free ones include: gfycat.com (<15s), mixtape.moe (<100MB), webmshare.com (10<MB), imgur.com (<30s, <200MB) etc. That 10MB limit might not sound very good, but for a short loop it's not that bad.

Of course this has the potential problem of resulting in the links one day suddenly not working due to your hosting site of choice going offline for some reason. And if no-one views videos for usually a month or two or longer, files are often automatically removed from these free services (though one might argue that then the link isn't really being used anyway and that it then doesn't really matter).

Hey, now that's a valuable comment. Thanks for the advices, I'll look on those websites for sure. 10Mb is usually enough with small anims I make, tho I had a situation when I made something bigger with 8 stages and had to remove half of them to be able to post it here. The biggest problem is with those swf files. They're the only one that can be uploaded, but somewhere during the converting there's a big quality drop. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.
And don't worry about my writing style, I usually care much about a correct language (even in english which is not my native language.) This journal entry up there comes from my worse moments (which I don't have much.) I'll keep it as a reminder. Cheers!

I've seen people having trouble with embedding good quality video in SWFs for as long as I can remember, unfortunately I don't have any advice since I've never actually really worked with Flash, I only have experience encoding video (and even that's limited). But it almost seems like you always get better quality from not using Flash for video, but I don't know. The great thing would of course be if FA supported some modern video container in addition to Flash, but not much one can do about that.

Haha, I'm pretty much what you would call a "grammar nazi" but that's usually towards myself. However, I know I'm not perfect and know better than to yell at other people (especially since I'm not a native English speaker). Also being "blind", tired and drunk is probably as good of an excuse as any!
