Travel is just about impossible, due to cost and mobility issues, and I live alone so there's no help with that.

I used to travel to East Coast west Coast cons, back when I had a dealer's table, but time has a way of changing everything ... including the people I knew and hung out with.

So, basically, I prefer not to hear that a fantastic time everyone else has. I can stay home and stick needles in dolls, instead, but maybe it would be a better use of my time to watch some movies. Over the years I've come to know a lot of people who also preferred not to go the convention route, for a variety of reasons ... some just didn't like crowds.

Oh well, maybe next year! :)

I could become wealthy overnight, find a miracle cure to all that ails me and regress 40 years... but then why would I hang out with fans?

Sounds like fun.
