I don't write journals that often... and figured I'd just kinda update you?
I have a Patreon now! It's to help give me some peace of mind and be able to actually work on what I want to work on. Projects and animation and everything! Just I really want to do, towards my ultimate career. There are a lot of exclusive stuff there as well. Mostly free linearts and stuff! Check it out if you'd like!
I also bought a cheap guitar, just to learn!
And I've picked up 3D Animation /finally/. I am finally at a place of mind and space to be able to do it without worry. Hoping to have some things uploaded in the future!
I'd love to be able to do some 2D Stuff as well, but unfortunately my tablet does not support any programs anymore.. I'm going to save up for a new tablet ;w; I need $600 and I'm starting from $0. So, over the next few months I'll be trying to save up for that. If you'd like to help, buying any adopts will help a bunch ;) Patreon, Ko-fi and such are all appreciated but I don't like to wave it around in peoples faces, that is your choice if you do so. Eventually I'll be able to save up the money on my own. I'll take some commissions here and there as well.
I have some goals for 2018, including learning some more German, training Cosmo more, Learning some guitar.. but mainly animation. Animation is my focus this year. It's what I went to school for and it's what I want to do with my life and I need to keep working at getting better if I want an entry level job in the industry.
I think I would like to get a dog for 2018 as well. I've worked with them for over a year and man did I learn so much about them and whats needed! Even though I've had dogs my entire life, I still had a lot to learn from my job and I think i'm ready to tackle on that large responsibility. But I need to be in a good place for that, and I'll have to think over what exactly that means, if I just need time or what. Dogs are a big responsibility I don't take lightly. If I don't have the time to dedicate to them every day then I won't make them suffer for it. (Its a big deal for me can you tell? lmao) I was looking at german shepard rescues and noticed they had some sweet older dogs. *cough*
Anyway, I have a lot to do and money is just the biggest issue I think. Its slow at work so i'll have more time to do other stuff, and I just need to work hard to afford the things I need and want.
I also really maybe should write a story for Nimbus's background lmao!

This year for 2018 I'm going back to college!! (Actually starts in 2 days!) This is a big step for me because of everything that has happened last time, but I finally feel ready to go back and give it my all!!!
This year I also plan on being myself. Literally just not care what other people think of me, just be who I feel I am without restrictions!!!! (No gross boyfriend to hold me back anymore ahha)

Good luck with college! It drained me so much so please don't over-work yourself. Only take on work you know you can do (I kept biting off more than I can chew and ended up not having a lot to show for it!) What are you going for? Anything particular?

I'm on track to go for Microbiology (not sure EXACTLY what I want to do in the field yet!)
It's honestly so exciting because my depression has been kicking my butt so I know getting out of the house and focusing on school work! I'm excited to challenge my brain again haha <3

Glad to see that you're pushing forward on stuff! I have a good feeling about this, especially once you get a tablet that actually works better!
As for me, this is the year I'm moving out for good. Gotta get myself more hours at work and start writing these stories in my downtime. It'll take a lot of motivation, but I CAN DO IT. If I can find the right motivation, maybe I'll start taking story commissions. That's a thing I recently learned people do!
Also gonna be hitting the music wagon and learning to make electronica music finally. Got a simple app for it, but planning on shelling out the money for a full sequencer and keyboard that works with it.
ALSO FURSUITS. That's gonna happen. No plan on how yet, but SOON.
2018 is gonna rock, whether it likes it or not.

I think you'd be really good at making music :O I know another friend that does stuff like that and its so fucking cool! Even if it isn't the most popular medium in the fandom, its still a /super cool/ one! :O
