Birthday Trip to Dave & Busters!

General
My team leader took me out to the Dave & Buster's up in Orland Park, had lunch with her, then we went to the nearby arcade and played on some of the many, many games before heading back.
-=GAMES PLAYED (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER)=-
Terminator Salvation: This game took way too long to get through the first-eighth of this one, and the controks were semi-realistic, but clunky.
Time Crisis 5: Twice the foot pedals apparently means more options for taking cover and flanking. The visuals were clean and crisp compared to the game I got terminated in.
Star Wars: Battle Pod: Nobody should ever put me in an X-Wing or Snowspeeder if they wanted to not die because of the light queasiness I felt during my pseudo-VR romp. Yavin IV got blown up, General Leia wound up KIA, and one too many Hoth transports were taken down...
Guitar Hero Arcade: Running off of the GH3 engine, I was sorely out of practice when playing Disturbed's "Stricken" on Hard Lead Guitar. I made it through, but not with top accolades.
Luigi's Mansion Arcade: Yes, Nintendo is still prominent in arcades, with Cruisin', Mario Kart, and now Lugi's Mansion under their belt. Two players, armed with Poltergusts, must clean out three mansions of their ghosts and treasure. Me and my team leader beat the whole game in one go, culminating in a showdown with a returning character from the original Gamecube entry. Very solid effort by Nintendo and Capcom on this one.
Also, I was killed by an airborne orange that a blue ghost catapulted at me, from his safety in the piles of refuse.
All in all, a good start to 2018... :D
