No Longer offering what?
If you're going to be picky about a style that I have to 'copy' per say, I'm no longer going to offer art to you, whether or not you pay. I cannot guarantee the style you want is going to be exact, especially since I prefer to draw in my own style and that's what I take commissions on. If you complain about "well this isn't right"- for example you're vague as hell about what's wrong with some scooby-doo-esque thing you had me draw instead of asking me to fix it, and then you proceed to complain to another artist about it... who I may or may not be a friend of... I'm more than likely not going to let you commission me again. It's not cool, and I'm not typically sensitive about these things. My style is a 'what you see is what you get' usually. I'm not here to draw sonic, MLP, spongebob, ETC just because you can't find anyone else who wants to fiddle with their own style and make it match with an art style that doesn't belong to them and that they didn't really care to draw in the first place. Honestly, I could have outright said no.. but I need the money.
I do offer to try out other styles but it's not going to be exact, so don't expect it to be, then get disappointed when it's not. Please.
It's just a pet peeve that I felt should be said. Sorry, guys. Thank you to those of you who commission me/watch my FA.. and thanks for genuinely enjoying what I draw some/most times. Heck, thanks for even watching me. It means a lot and it's a huge confidence boost and it makes me want to draw more..
Things like in the first paragraph, though, those put a damper on my mood when I do already deal with depression and anxiety and other issues on a daily.. Hence why I tend to be forthcoming when I need to address things like that. I apologize if anyone finds it offensive, but I'd rather be blunt about these things. I don't have very high respect for those who don't respect that I'm not going to get an exact replica of what they want drawn done.. however, I hold respect for those who do respect that some things won't be exact, and are okay with that.. and even encourage me to keep drawing.
Special thanks to Ansil and Survilebully for being supportive of my art, even though they don't commission me. :) (I don't expect commissions. Support is enough for me)
