...lightly turns to thoughts of... buying shit

For me, the winter period from January to March has always been a weird, odd time of inspiration and of starting new projects, or digging up old forgotten ones and breathing new life into them. Maybe it's the cabin fever. Anyhow, after buying a bunch of new hardware tools to replace old ones, I'm now going to be working on setting up a new Microsoft Server 2016 to replace an old NAS box I've had for a decade. I also picked up a new pistol and rifle that will require my attention. Yes, January is the month for spending money. Out with the old, in with the new.
