Since coming into the fandom a several years ago, it's been a bit of a roller coaster ride. I made the mistake of having a hero do my very first ref, which, well, didn't come out at all as intended and kinda left me with a bad taste. Which sucks, because their artwork is one of the primary reasons I got interested in the first place. I was actually so let down that I walked away for over a year.......Alas, as the saying goes, don't meet your heroes. Then there were a couple more attempts at getting my ref sorted out, and between my NOOB-ness and mistakes with artist choices, it's taken a couple years to finally get to where I wanted to be. There have been easily a half-dozen false starts, or issues with communications, etc. etc. to the point that I have nearly quit a few times, just out of the sheer frusttration of it all. I am not an artist. I can't draw for shit. Trying to communicate what's in my head to someone that can has been quite a learning experience. That being said, it has been a very informative process, and likely worth all the hassle early on, as I now have found some artists and makers that are super awesome, I finally have a ref that actually is right, I have a suit commissioned, and I will hopefully be seeing ya'll at BLFC this year!!! I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to it, I was supposed to have made it to FC '18 but that just didn't come together. Hopefully be woofing everyone soon! Arooooo!
