So, as this suggests, I want to start trying to take writing commissions soon. ^^
I'm not open for them just yet, but keep an eye out for another journal in case you might be interested!

Terms of Service:

Thank you very much for considering getting a commission from me! ^^

If you do commission a story from me you are expected to have read and accepted the following conditions! They are subjected to change at any given time and without prior announcements for any reason. These terms will apply to you in their existing iteration at the time of your commission.

How to contact & commission me

If the latest journal says I am open, you may send me a note here on FA with at least some basic details of what it is you want me to write. You may also include your Discord for me to add you because it is a very easy way to keep in touch.

I reserve the right to turn down your commission for whatever reason.

Payments & refunds

Payment will be made through Paypal and in USD. It must be full and made upfront before actual work on your commission begins.

I will only ask you for payment once I am ready to start writing your story. As such, there will be no full refunds unless I am suddenly forced into circumstances where I can't complete your commission for whatever reason or an entire month goes by without me keeping in touch with you.

~ A 50% refund will be available to you during the planning & discussion phase of your commission
~ A 25% refund will be available to you after I finish inquiring you for the information I need as well as present you with an outline for your story and give you an estimated completion date. Keep in mind that I might start working the moment I get your approval.
~ There will be no refunds once I have begun writing your commission.

Please treat this with the utmost seriousness. If I agree to write a commission for you but can't receive payment right away because I am busy with other things, under no circumstances should I message you once I'm ready to start and then be told that you've changed your mind. The reason I will charge you only when I am able to dedicate the time needed is for your protection as well as mine and to avoid situations like this.

The commission process

~ I would like to do my best to the deliver the most satisfactory piece of writing I possibly can. Chances are I will ask you plenty of questions about your OCs (if relevant) and so on. Please be patient.
~ While discussing the various details with you I will attempt to get a grasp of what it is you'd like me to write as well as how much freedom you are willing to give me with your commission. Do remember that I can't possibly read your mind and, should you forget to mention certain things, the fault will be yours.

~ As far as updates and delivery are concerned, I will give you an estimated completion date and always notify you if any delays occur as soon as possible. I may also ask for your input while writing. So despite how I won't rely on you for every single little detail, you being available will be appreciated.

~ You will also be shown the story when I near its completion. Naturally, do feel free to point things out to me and I will correct things as needed. I will proofread the whole piece myself beforehand but I may miss a typo here or there so do be thorough before giving your final approval.

~ You may post a finished story to your gallery. My only request is that you give proper credit and include a link to my FA page.
~ Likewise, I will be posting a completed commission while crediting you for your OCs.

Important things to keep in mind

~ Do not ask me to try and write similarly to a certain writer. My writing style is my own and unless things are done as they come naturally to me it will show.
~ Again, be patient. Do not ask me when your commission will be finished again and again once I have given you my estimated completion date. As stated above, I will notify you the moment I feel as if I may not be able to complete the story on time.
~ Major changes will not be made unless I am at fault. By this I mean instances where your character is poorly portrayed or other general lacks of logic and fluidity. That being said, I hereby once again remind you that I can't read your mind. I will not be held responsible in case you forget to ask for something specific that you want. Unless the request is justified, do not ask me to rewrite entire paragraphs or to carry out some other drastic "correction".
