i´m not into 3ds homebrew anymore. but citra 3ds is an emulator if you want play in your PC, i started using cubic ninja exploit and later the nintendo player exploit for get homebrew stuff in my 3ds. Everything depends of your version of your new 3ds is.

If you own digital versions of the games, you can use an eShop emulator on PC to download them directly from Nintendo (still supposed to require homebrew to initially get the keys you need but there are legal ways around it if you own the games on the eShop).

For sure. It's not like a desktop PC. Make one little mistake and you can lose the whole console.

Unless you are doing things that you really don't know, its hard to really brick your 3ds. 3ds systems with CFW still recieve updates and run CFW just fine. But yeah, you still got to be careful, when installing CFW i almost closed my 3ds which would hsve bricked it. Luckily CFW installing isnt as difficult now, it just needs more materials.

Other side of it, Nintendo is one of my favorite companies and I really don't want to do anything to tick them off. Plus, I am hoping some day to do business with Nintendo, even if all it means is being granted a non-commercial license to develop on the Switch with the Unreal Engine.

i wouldnt use homebrew at all but i do show ya trick is find plug adopted from 3ds to USB plugs in to pc and download roms and make folder rename ds game and put game rom in it and go my pc n see it 3ds and click on it and pop up and put new folder n rename 3DS slot and put ds roms folder into 3DS Slot and turn 3ds off n back on and look on screen you may find it said DS game n touch it n goes to list of game u out in it touch any game what u wanted

Unless you are in an older version before or with soundhax, you need a flashcart and magnet or whatever people use now. You could possibly trade for a different one, but your best bet is probably to wait for when Nintendo drops 3ds support and then more exploits will be found: no one really cares to exploit atm because of frequent Nintendo patches. To be honest, I have streaming with NTR and it is not that good. It shows up laggy on my pc, but Citra really isnt much better unless you have a really good pc. When recording portable devices you are always stuck between a rock and a hard place.
