Capture Card Users, A Question
So, I'm looking to get a capture card to allow streaming from consoles. However, due to the PS4 being a bitch, I need to jump through some hoops to allow the card I am looking at to work with my headset. Before continuing, here is the current list:
PS4 (base version, not pro)
PC (i5, nvidia 1070)
ElGato HD60 Pro (internal capture card, usb 2.0)
Logitech G933
I believe I would need an analog audio adaptor, but that's about it. I would need the cord and adaptor, so if you or someone you know uses a similar set up could you let me know so I could try and figure out what items I need? Thank you in advance!
You should be able to use the card as a pass-trough, and within the software just add your headset as audio input.
Don't need to connect your headset to the PS4, if that's what you're trying to do.
Just connect the PS4 HMDI to the IN, OUT to your TV or w/e.
Then on your PC fire up Game Capture, get the footage, add your headset connected to your PC as audio input and you're good to go.
Since you're using a wireless headset, shouldn't worry about any cables going between the PC and PS4 other than the HDMI cable.

I would need some sort of work around
If you needed the headset for in-game voice chat, it would of become complicated.
Otherwise, don't need to fiddle.
You're welcome!
