Computer companys have more than one computer at an time to deal with and if its hardware failure,
of course they then need to replace it they may not have one in there store and have to order one, they kinda have to wait around for a new part and test others things in the process which could take a few hours, as some issues they have to take parts out to then boot it up and do alot of crappy tests which take a bit of time

i understand your frustration with it, its not nice to have a pc go wappy there might be other issues too

so it might take longer than expected especially if they are reinstalling and fitting a new HDD

The part was ordered ahead of time and was there when I dropped him off. I was told a day repair to instal a new fan. I understood two days because it was one guy working. What I can’t understand is six days since I won’t get even an update TIL Monday.. they are closed weekends

They must have there reasons since they won't be just workin on 1 computer and possibly have an list, and someone else's has taken longer than others, the other dude might be on holiday idk but depending on the issues of other customers it could slow the process down of them getting to it especially if they have clients wanting a new rig...


But there could be a number of reasons like when the part will actually get there 8dk if they paid for faster shipping nd whatnot and if not standard for free us up to 5-7 working days


But I've had to wait a bit over a week for an replacement harddrive it takes less than 10 mins to swap it out its hella frustrating


But computer building and fixing is kinda like art you can't rush it and you might be put in a que

well, Hulk is back. He's slow as fuck though..so i dunno what to think about that ;( but at least its back
