Since I'll be posting my first new commissions in years, I felt like adding a journal post, too. Everything's coming up Street Sharks! Well, not everything, but I do have a couple Street Sharks things coming. Two commissions take place in the main Street Sharks Universe of the cartoon. Another will be my biggest comic to date and it will be rehashing the first episode of the cartoon IF it took place in a gender-swapped universe where all the male characters are female (a fleshed out version of that comic I did years ago with Shenanigan).

So why Street Sharks?

I liked this lame cartoon a lot when I was younger. Even though it was a TMNT ripoff, the character designs were fun and so were the toys. But it held a lot of promise in regards to TF and never really delivered on that. You had a villain whose only goal was to turn every man, woman and child into sea mutants and he fucking sucked at it! Not to mention there was the toy>>cartoon>>toy synergy going on, where you could make a new character and sell of toy of it next week, yet the list of mutants was pretty small. And lastly, where were all the females?
