id say its just a bug, as my pageview counter is stuck at the amazing number of...0!

The pageview counter was frozen 2 weeks ago or somewhere close to that (according to Jheryn's post on the forums). The coders decided to do that to reduce the number of queries used by the server each time it loads a page or submission. Also, the current method for counting pageviews is rather inefficient, but there have been a couple of tests for new methods. A lot of the bells and whistles on the site got disabled to help cope with user loads up around 1,000 at a time while we're on hardware that's just not designed to handle that sort of demand. The new server is just about fully ready to go and will be comming up in mid-April. Then you'll see the return of a lot of different counters like the page view counter. =^..^=
